President Donald Trump holds a Salute to America celebration at the Iowa State Fair on Thursday, July 3.

The celebration comes after the House passed Trump’s signature Big Beautiful Bill earlier in the day and ahead of the nation’s July 4, Indepenence Day celebrations.

Democrat House Leader Hakeem Jeffries tried to delay the inevitable once Republicans had built enough support around passing the bill, to no effect.
